David joined Feedlot Services Australia Pty Ltd (T/A FSA Consulting) in June 2000. Prior to this he was employed with the Department of Primary Industries, Intensive Livestock Environmental Management Services group based in Toowoomba.
David’s work focuses mainly on compiling development applications for intensive livestock industries, environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring and overall environmental management of these facilities.
From the November 1994 to May 2001, David was a Senior Field Officer, Intensive Livestock Environmental Management Services, Department of Primary Industries (Queensland). His main responsibilities included assessing applications for intensive livestock developments, issuing environmental authorities, monitoring ongoing operational performances and investigating complaints against intensive livestock facilities. David has dealt extensively with Shire Councils throughout the State, and has a sound working knowledge of the processes involved under the Integrated Planning Act 1997 and the Environmental Protection Act 1994.
From 1982 to November 1993, David was a Stock Inspector with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries. He was based in the centres of Brisbane, Mt Isa, Cloncurry and Theodore prior to accepting a position with DPI Feedlot Services in November 1993.
