Robyn Tucker co-founded Feedlot Services Australia Pty Ltd (T/A FSA Consulting) in 1994. She is a Principal Consultant with this firm. As a specialist in environmental management for intensive livestock enterprises, Robyn has prepared numerous environmental impact studies, environmental management plans, and effluent and manure reuse plans for these industries. She is skilled at modelling effluent streams, treatment and reuse using MEDLI and other computer models. Robyn has undertaken a range of industry-funded environmental research. She also has considerable expertise in developing and delivering training materials. Robyn is National Coordinator and a Facilitator for the Australian Pork Ltd environmental training materials.
From 1990 to 1994 Robyn was Beef Feedlot Husbandry Officer with the Department of Primary Industries Feedlot Services group. As a researcher on two Meat Research Corporation-funded Feedlot Waste Management programs, she studied the environmental impact of cattle feedlots; implemented changes to improve environmental performance; and provided data for the formulation of feedlot guidelines. Robyn participated on three major industry improvement committees. She also played an important role in providing industry environmental training.
Robyn is a partner in a family grazing property. She is experienced in all aspects of beef cattle husbandry.
